Well, Happy Mom’s Day to moms and deviant moms out there!!!

Speaking of Mom’s, my mom is finally out of the hospital. She was ‘kicked out’ on Tuesday 6 and well she is still at home resting cause all the medicines are giving her some vertigo and all around dizziness. Her stomach is coming around as she is able to eat some things and go to the bathroom as human nature intended. She will probably have to return to work next week (possibly on Thursday 15) cause the first medicines where just killing her so she had to switch to smooth pills (and cheaper ones lol). She is coming around, but as she was researching she found out the condition might be hereditary so in one way or another (good or bad) I will have to check myself as well cause it might explode on me like it did on her…hemorrhoids plus diarrhea ARE BAD ppl very – VERY bad…and painful on the ass too. Imagine not able to sit for days cause its practically on fire. I mean OUCH! Not to mention the heat over here is insane…I mean – I-N-S-A-N-E!!! I’m sweating buckets…everywhere!!

On the other hand. I can rest a little, cause mom is recuperating. On my side of the story, I’m on finals and what happened to mom turned everything up side down (including the B-day), but I have managed. I actually got my B-day cake, although 2 days late, but I savored it like never before. It tasted like sweet victory. ROFL But yeah. Yesterday I killed one final, that didn’t take me much. It’s a video of a commercial that we had to do. I (of course) made one of Ninja Gaiden II and its not so OOOH AAAH due to the Hospital problem, but it will manage cause it has all the stuff the teach asked. I’ll probably post it on YouTube and link it here so you can laugh on how pathetic it looks. But alas, I had no extra time. But something is something, right? I finished two home tests and I have to work with a final on QuarkXPress (worst program EVER!!!). People, take it from me, the ONLY programs that are WORTH using are all Adobe programs. Quark SUCKS! Used InDesign instead. Quark is so…so…so…freaking prehistoric!!

Huuzaah! I have only 6 classes left! Next quarter I’m taking 4 classes (that includes Portfolio) and the other quarter I’m taking two classes and then I will have my practice. Oooh sweet victory – I graduate on February NEXT YEAR!!! WOOHOOO!! So I’m actually hyped. If anything goes wrong I have a free quarter in where I can add any missing class and according to my grades I’m full of A’ and I only have 4 B’s. (For those who think I eat books – you are SOOOOOO WRONG! I barely do things on time – for the love of Ninja Gaiden I’m a full time procrastinator!!!) So yeah, I’m smart enough to do everything last minute – lol!! Not a good idea, but its fun, cause I freak out and stuff. Heheheh…

About games. I’ve been playing Metroid Prime after so long and I got (back) Castlevania Curse of Darkness and Dynasty Warriors 5, currently searching for Metroid Prime Echoes (I really didn’t like it, but its for collections sake) and Genma Onimusha for the Xbox (hard as hell to find). Other than that, I’m slowly saving money for Soul Calibur IV and I already paid Ninja Gaiden II FULL so I’m happy and waiting patiently (funny thing is…on June 3 or 4 I get my period so I’ll be playing NGII with much fury) Anyways, nothing new here cause I’ve been disconnected from the game world and the interned due to…well…the already mentioned situation at the beginning.

It may sound lame and cheesy, but I don’t give a damn. Here it goes:

With my deepest breath, I’d like to thank all the deviants that literally gave me hope and cheered me up during my situation where Mom was at the hospital. I got 102 comments on the previous journal and I read stuff about people who I didn’t even knew, that patted me on the back and most of them made me feel like I was receiving a warm extended hand to help me get back up my feet. Damn, that meant a lot to me. You have no idea the smiles you guys gave me during that time and of course the people who noted me (you know who you are!!). So saying ‘thank you’ is not enough. You guys deserve the onslaught of emoticons here:
