Link: Hyrule’s Knight Color

LINK GOT PROMOTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally Link, you don’t need to kill chickens anymore to live!

Joke aside, I wanted to draw Link like a Knight cause that’s what crossed my mind after I drew his head This wasn’t in the agenda but I gave it a shot and this baby was born. Dear Goddesses of the Triforce! The Master Sword was almost my obliteration! But according to my eye, the size is right. This one has a bunch of references, from JoeMad’s Garrison, to England’s style Knight Armors all the way to The Legend of Zelda itself. I wanted to keep Link, well as Link, but with extras. Armor, cape, you know – knights stuff. But I kept some of Links original armor intact like his tunic, the full body leggings, Kokiri hat and the boots with some straps in ‘em (keeping in mind some new things from his tunic in the Twilight game). I also left the crest of Hyrule in numerous places. Keeping the title in mind that he IS Hyrule’s most important Knight. So I showered him with the Triforce emblem all over places that I felt were important.

Now that he lives in Hyrule Castle, Zelda will never be kidnapped again – EVER!!

As an illustrator and (soon to be) Graphic Artist I have to make things up from my mind in other to upgrade the things already made. This Link proved I can do it…miraculously.

Shinobi Tools used: Photoshop CS2 > Wacom Tablet > One damned layer (I’ll never do that again!) > 3 hours of my miserable life was taken to do this…3 HOURS!
