Ok, I’ll be sincere, I this pic to the point I might go down and ink it...and think twice if to color it in CG but…….I’ll leave I there. For the moment.
As u can tell it’s non other than Logan a.k.a. Wolverine! Those who know me will be probably saying: “My gosh! Furan did a BACKGROUND!? The world is coming to an end.” Yes its true…Logan has a BG behind him. Hallelujah! Whatever. The BG took me about 3 hours so-so including the extra people. Logan took me some extra time at first cause I wanted a cool, cocky yet “Let’s go punk!” look to him, his usual; but I was flipping coins in the claws: Adamantium or bone? Bone. Because I thought the recent Logan I’ve seen is when he got the adamantium outta the system and well I didn’t wanna go with the old school Logan with metal claws. Besides, with the bone claws he looks rather cooler (in my opinion). Wolverine has mutated so much I bet his last form will be a doggy or something.
Joke aside…I went in to intense research since this is the second Wolverine I’ve drawn in 6 years. I wanted him too look as ‘today’ as possible; so I went to my Joe Madureira comic books, the net and even the X-Men Evolution Wolvie. I fused a bit of this and that and added my anime style n’ there u have it, a sexy kick ass Logan. Hey! - He may look in his mid 30’s or 40’s (cause I know he has WAY more age than that) and he may be 5’3” in height, but I’m telling ya…he’s MEGA cute ^_^ (Damn…and I’m 5’6”…‘Shrimp’ ). I went hard core in details, like the name-tag thingy, the smoke from the cigar, the stubble and the damned all square shirt thingy whatchimacallit. Also the jacket gave me a well placed headache in between my bark coughing (I’m still sick damnit!) and well…lemmy se what I else can I say. Right, not too many people at Joe’s huh? Its MORNING…*excuses-excuses* No really is morning, the guy next to the owner is writing ‘Today’s Special’ so there (Heheheheh…I bet someone took Logan’s last pancake…and he didn’t like it so its payback-time!! ^_^). ALSO please tell me if the dammed restaurant looks like a Eat at Joe’s place. If not: Shit! If it did: Whoa those Drawing and Perspective & Background and Layout Design classes really paid off!! I also need a gooooooooood comment on the perspective of the claws and the restaurants interior itself with Logan’s close up. That gave me hell. Anyways….Hope u like!!!!
Done in pencil on a 11’x14’ Bristol paper. Time it took: 4½ hours.
Other than that… “Make my day, BUB!” (Damn I wrote too much senseless bullsh--) Because of the stupid scanner it looks poor quality.
Logan's bone claws weren't bumpy like that, they were more indented, and they didn't actually appear very sharp, at least, from all the comics I've read where Logan was a kid, and first found out about his claws, killed his father, etc. Everything else is spot on about him. The claws aren't even that far off. Just give em a little more smoothness and a little less jaggedness.
You should know that a user named iChailyn has stolen this piece and is passing it off as his own. Here's a link: [link]
I've already reported him but I thought you better know as well. You may want to report it as well since da mods tend to listen more if the original artist reports the theft as well.
The perspective of the room in base with the "claws" looks amazing. And Logan's "Let's go, punk" expression is absolutely spot-on!
I love how the middle bone has a crack in it. I love little details. Like the light fixture, the vase and flower, and the "help-wanted" signs on the window.
I really hope to see more of your Wolverine/ Logan pictures. Especially when X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2 comes out. Fantastic job, hun.

As I checked it, the file is no longer displayed
on his site.
