:bulletblue: I’ve been practicing good ol school Greek anatomy. I took this as a starting example Famous Greek Statue and I was unable to finish it.

Tools: Blue ball point pen (ReAction 1.0 from BiC) on sketchbook.

If you placed that in a non-scrap category, and submit it as a print, then I might buy that. It's simple and would go great in any room of a place a certain randy boy happens to live at. It's beautiful!

With the economy as it is, I can only hope to be able to purchase art... ^_^;

Actually, the work is called "Laocoun and Sons" He was the prophet of Troy, and warned that the city shouldn't accept the Trojan Horse from the Greeks, saying that they should "beware Greeks bearing gifts". For that, Poseidon sent a sea serpent to kill him and his two sons, to keep the Greek's secret safe. This work depicts that moment.

This is absolutely correct an so this statue is not a God. It's a priest of Apollon. Well, though, awesome work^^

Now it seems that I am going to have to give myself three to six months (as a goal) on the male and female anatomy to get that good then go though all of my sketchbooks and redo all of my male characters with my newfound knowledge,...oh sorry, I had my foot in my throat again, this is really nice and this is from a greek god statue, now it seem I am going to have to try to go to a couple of museums (if not there is always online) an look and study the physique of the sculptures (both male and female) to get the hang of it, but other than that I am geting a little better and with time I will draw muscles like you soon, Kickass as always.

that's freakin awesome furan! a couple of pointers if you'll allow me:

be careful with your latisimus dorsi (the wing muscles), try not to make them too big, it tends to throw off the proportions.

also, try doing a couple of focus studies on the biceps. the shapes are there, they just need a bit of fine tuning.

freakin awesome work with the lines though, very greek. :D
